You can stop both free and subscription text services by using your mobile phone to text message a reply to any message you receive from the provider of the text service. You should reply with the single word ‘stop’. You may or may not get an acknowledgement with any further instructions. (For example, if you have subscribed to several services from the same provider, you may asked to select which services to stop). You should now not receive any further messages.
