WAP is short for Wireless Applications Protocol. It is a language for sending website information to your phone, in a similiar way to how HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is used for PC websites. Most modern handsets support WAP 2.0 for mobile web browsing. Our directory includes WAP 2.0 compatible sites, but does not provide an index of the older WAP 1.0 sites used on some older phones. |
