Topic: Make My Ringtone / it is not sending to my phone In many cases the issue has nothing to do with the phone and everything to do with the Carrier. Most people will receive an SMS message with a link to the ringtone they created. You then follow the link to download the ringtone. If you don’t have a plan that supports messaging you probably won’t get the SMS message. (Some carriers also seem to be filtering messages. I’m not sure why.) If you don’t have a data plan you won’t be able to download your ringtone once the SMS with the link arrives. |

Topic: FAQ / im not getting a text We changed the server hosting company. Along these lines we needed to change our outgoing mail servers. Give it a try again. It should work now. |

Topic: FAQ / Text not coming through correctly We’ve just recently changed our outgoing mails servers to be something a little more reliable. Give it a try again and see if the new servers work. Another possibility is that your operator is filtering your message. Possibly because we are sending you a link to your ringtone in the message. (But I’m guessing here.) What operator are you using and do you have a data plan? |

Topic: Help / Not getting ringtones on my phone Normally you’d get a text message with a link to the ringtone. You’d then retreive the link to get the ringtone. Are you getting the text message? |

Topic: FAQ / problems after file is sent to my phone Hi Sam, I have a blackberry pearl phone. I just scroll down the message until the link is selected and click. A menu pops up and I choose “Get Link” and the ringtone downloads. I then save it and choose the set as ringtone checkbox and it just works. Do you have a data plan and what kind of phone are you using? geoff |

Topic: Make My Ringtone / It doesn't work for me... Hi alexis. I just got a Blackberry Pearl from T-Mobile and I was able to make a ringtone so your Curve should work. There are a couple things to remember. I’ve found that it can take a LONG time for the text message to go through T-Mobile’s gateway. As much as 12 or 16 hours. (Yes, really!) It may just be that the message hasn’t made it through T-Mobile yet. (There isn’t anything we can do about this I’m afraid.) Also, (and this is obvious but I’ll mention it any ways), make sure you have the correct number entered for your phone. If it is wrong, you won’t get the text message. |
